Hello there
I’m Palak Banthia

I’m an art student at the University of Washington. IM working across UI/UX, product design, and visual art. My practice is rooted in storytelling, not just how things look, but how they feel, behave, and become part of someone’s everyday life. I’m fascinated by the quiet moments between people and objects: the pause before a click, the weight of a ceramic mug, the way a color can hold memory.

I approach design the way I approach painting experimentally, emotionally, and with intention. Whether I’m layering pigment on canvas or building a digital interface, I’m always thinking about how form shapes experience. I’m drawn to projects that explore culture, identity, and human connection, and I believe the best work leaves space for people to see themselves inside it.

Outside of THIS, I HIKE (FEEL LIKE ITS A NEED IN PNW), WATCH F1, AM TRAINING TO RUN A MARATHON (KIND OF) AND AM CURRENTLY WATCHING HEATED RIVALRY AND BRIDGERTON ON REPEAT
